About
Hello! I'm Iriku, a composer and writer who loves video games!Since I was a child, music and guitar has always fascinated me. I began playing guitar at the age of 7 and began composing at the age of 12. I always found learning and playing existing songs fun but the idea of creating something new, something unheard before has driven me down this path of music production and composition. Throughout high school I participated in many bands as a guitarist and front man. Then during college, I became part of a band called The Poet, where I was given an opportunity to shine in my element, metalcore. This experience although short-lived, was one that shaped and changed my musical journey forever. Due to circumstances outside of our control, the band has taken a hiatus and we have moved on to different projects, including a new concept that we are working on together.After this, I decided to start my solo journey making vocal synth music in 2019. This experience would solidify my skills as a producer, composer, songwriter and would shape me into the composer I am today. With orchestral metal-core being my strongest suit, I now have genres like Orchestral, EDM, Pop, Hyperpop and others under my belt.Since then, I am now moving on to a different scene. During 2025, I have started moving on to releasing songs featuring my own vocals, arranging VGM covers under GameGrooves, which has been one of many avenues I've always wished to explore, and many new projects in search of expanding my horizons.One of many such projects is working together with others to help them bring their musical visions, be it in the form of a cover or an original song, to life.
